It's been in the offing and finally Mercedes-Benz have a strong contender for the Audi Q5 and the BMW X3 in the form of the GLC. It's based on the C-Class sedan and shares a lot more than just the platform. The GLC will come in both the petrol and diesel powertrains and we got our hands on the diesel version.
