Washington sources reported that US Donald Trump said "It is clear to him that we cannot prevent Iran nuclear bomb as the Iran deal is defective at its core. Therefore, he is announcing today that the United States would withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal". Meanwhile the moments later he signed fresh set of sanctions against Iran and warned countries against any cooperation with Tehran on its controversial nuclear weapons program. He said "The "disastrous" deal gave Iran millions in cash and did not prevent it from acquiring nuclear weapons".

Meanwhile in reversing the signature foreign policy accomplishment of his predecessor Barack Obama, Trump by taking this decision ignored advice against such a move from his key European allies and top US Democratic leaders. Further when describing this as a bad deal, Trump said that the nuclear deal is unlikely to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

Accordingly before Trump's announcement in this regard, which was televised live, top administration officials including Vice President Mike Pence informed Congress about his decision. Trump alleged "The Iranian promise of abandoning its nuclear weapons is a lie". Further allowing the deal to stay would result in an arms race in the region, he said, adding that the deal does nothing to constrain Iran's "destabilizing behavior".

According to sources it was stated that World's largest e-commerce player Amazon has invested an additional Rs 2,600 crore in its India operations ahead of the US retail giant Walmart taking over the country's e-tail major Flipkart. Amazon Services Ltd in a filing with the Registrar of Companies (RoC) said "The Amazon board has accorded consent to allot 260 crore shares of Rs 10 face value aggregating Rs 2,600 crore to the shareholders on rights basis in the ratio of their shareholding".

Meanwhile according to the Chennai-based business intelligence platform Paper.vc, which sourced the regulatory documents, the Seattle-based Amazon infused the additional capital into the Singapore-based Amazon Corporate Holdings Ltd and Amazon.com incs Ltd, which operate Amazon India e-tail business.

Previously Amazon Chief Executive Jeff Bezos had earlier committed to invest a whopping $5 billion in India to cash-in on the rapid growth in e-commerce. Moreover this comes at a time when Amazon’s biggest Indian rival Flipkart is set to sell a majority stake to Amazon’s global rival Walmart for nearly $12 billion along with selling a minority stake to Google’s parent Alphabet.

She has already started shooting for her magnum opus Aadujeevitham with Prithviraj, directed by Blessy and with music by AR Rahman. New Delhi sources reported that Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI) Limited’s manufacturing plant at Vithalapur, is located some 78km from Ahmedabad, has been temporarily shut for technical reasons. Accordingly the company officials confirmed the same through a statement.

Meanwhile to company officials confirmed that there was a technical trouble in the conveyor belt of the plant and is under repair. HMSI on Monday, issued a statement “There was a technical trouble on the conveyor in our Vithalapur plant and it is under repair. We have made some adjustment in the working calendar to upgrade the facilities to improve working of the conveyor.”

Meanwhile, a rumor was doing the rounds over the death of three people at the company’s plant due to an alleged structure collapse. When inquired, Shobhana Parmar, PSI, Vithalapur Police Station, refuted the claims and said, “We received a few calls over the alleged structure collapse and subsequent death of three people at the plant’s paint shop. However, we sent our teams to the plant, they learnt there was no such incident that took place. No accidental death or cases of injury have been reported.”
