Reportedly the state’s first cyclone shelter to provide a safe and secure space for people during natural calamities has been set up in Mararikkulam, Alappuzha. Regions along the kerala coastline have witnessed a high number of cyclonic storms in recent years, which bring heavy rains, coastal erosion and water logging. The cyclone shelter will provide relief to those living in hamlets along the coast.

The shelter is housed in a three-story building that was recently constructed under an initiative of the kerala State Disaster Management Authority (KSDMA), with the financial assistance from the World Bank. Though other cyclone shelters are currently under construction in various other districts, the Mararikkulam shelter will become the first functional one as it opens to the public in December.

Moroever construction is reportedly underway at three centres in various parts of alappuzhadistrict alone. According to officials, 23 such cyclone shelters by the KSDMA are under construction in various regions in the state. The facility was constructed at a cost of Rs 3.53 crores. The officials of the panchayat have also planned to use the building for alternative purposes when it is not being used as a cyclone shelter and a special committee of panchayat officials, avillage officer, police and irrigation officials has been appointed to review the functioning of the centre.

gopichand malineni #RT66 is a powerful police drama written by the director himself. The makers are confirming one after another cast and crew. A few days back, Shruti Haasan is signed for the female lead role. The makers have announced one more female lead now. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar will also star in the movie. ram Gopal Varma's Latest Controversial film, kamma Rajyamlo kadapa Redlu, has confirmed its arrival. The movie is releasing on november 29th as per the newspaper Ad by the makers. The advert has an interesting poster in which Chandrababu and jagan are seen close to each other. The moviebusiness is yet to begin. It has to be seen if the makers will find any buyers or have to risk release the movie on their own.

The trailer and the songs released so far clearly indicates that the film is targeting chandrababu naidu and Nara Lokesh. The movie will have to compete with Nikhil's arjun Suravaram which is releasing on the same day. Ramu's previous controversial film, Lakshmi's ntr barely got any reception at the box office. It has to be seen if things will be anything different for Kamma Rajyamlo kadapa Redlu.

According to sources deepak N, an official with BMTC told the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) is set to reduce bus fares in a move to make public transport more attractive and decongestant roads in the city."Bus fares will be reduced. Meanwhile the exact details are being worked and it will be finalized in the next few days".

Perhaps the decision to reduce fares comes after a meeting involving officials of BMTC, Bruhat bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), and bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) on wednesday and the meeting was chaired by karnatakachief minister BS Yeddyurappa. Reportedly Yeddyurappa announced that BMTC's fleet of buses will be increased with the addition of 6,000 buses in a phased manner and as of today, the minimum bus fare is Rs 12, and the monthly pass costs Rs 925.

Moreover the decisions were welcomed by civic groups in the city. srinivas Alavilli, co-founder of Citizens for bengaluru (CfB) a citizen group, said "We hope the chief minister Subsidies bus fares by 50%. All over the world bus fares are heavily subsidized because investment in bus is investment in public health. It was recently done inmumbai and Delhi. Even when the BMTC did a pilot, the volume (of commuters) increased. If bus fares are low and they are reliable and fast, there will be even more people taking the bus thereby adding to the revenues of BMTC".
