No Kajal Aggarwal, No Keerthy Suresh...!!!

For the past few days, the talk of the town is about the success of 'Mahanati' and the mindblowing performance of Keerthy Suresh as 'Savithri'. The actress earned praises from all quarters and even legends showered praises on her.



Most of the fans even called her as the numero uno actress in Tollywood. In this case, a few weeks back there were talks on the film industry that, Kajal Aggarwal is going to do the female lead role in the Biopic of Late CM J.Jayalalitha. But the actress denied the reports and said she wasn't even approached by anyone.

And sooner, the rumor struck Keerthy Suresh. The actress while speaking to the media confessed that she hasn't received any offers regarding Jayalalitha biopic and it is all just a rumor. The actress also confirmed she is currently working with Vijay under A.R.Murugadoss direction and she also completed the shooting of 'Sandakozhi 2' with Vishal.

BJP plans to woo Lingayat MLAs!

With the Karnataka state assembly election results not ending in favor of either BJP or Congress, as neither of them gained majority seats, the BJP party has now begun its strategies to woo the Lingayat sect MLAs of Congress party to them. With the minimum requirement to form the government by any party being the winning of 112 seats out of the total of 222 constituencies, both the parties are making desperate measures. 



 

While BJP has won 104 seats, Congress has won 78, Janata Dal secular has won 38, while 2 constituencies witnessed independent candidates winning. With congress joining hands with JD and even the 2 independent candidates joining them, the congress alliance now has 118 seats in their belt.

 As BS Yedyurappa for BJP and Kumarasamy for the congress-JD alliance have planned to meet the governor, BJP has reportedly planned to lure 8 Lingayat MLAs from congress. It must be noted that despite Sidharamaiah announcing Lingayats as a separate religion prior to elections, the congress party did not receive support of Lingayats. Now with the plan to pull Lingayats, and also to pressurize Congress cadre to not accept Kumarasamy as CM, BJP is making its moves to thwart Congress plans.

Kerala tourism targets Karnataka!

The Kerala tourism department has invited the winning candidates of the Congress - Janata Dal secular team to come enjoy a stay in their state. The Karnataka politics has been burning, as none have emerged with majority and with Congress and JDS planning an alliance. 

        


With the congress support letter, Kumarasamy has requested to meet the governor, and agreement has been reached to make Kumarasamy the CM, and a congress candidate as the deputy CM. Besides, talks have also been concluded to allot 20 ministers from Congress and 16 from Janata Dal secular. On the other end, BS Yedyurappa has requested governor to let them form the government as they are the single largest party with 104 seats.

With Congress 78, JDS 38, there are bright chances for BJP to enter into a seat trading deals and agreement mode, with JDS, to stop the congress plans to oust them.  In a similar scenario year back in Tamilnadu, the warring camps of AIADMK met at Koovathur resort, following which there was a major political shuffle. With a similar seat trading expected to happen in Karnataka, the Kerala state tourism department has sarcastically posted a tweet, inviting the Congress, JDS MLAs for a stay in their state, adding that they must visit God's own country and enjoy its beauty.

'Srimanthudu' Magic to be repeated by this Month End?

The movie was dubbed in Tamil as 'Selvanthan' and Shruti Haasan's market elevated the movie as a huge successful venture. But, later other releases of Mahesh Babu tanked so bad. Now, Mahesh Babu is keen to repeat the 'Srimanthudu' Magic in Tamil Nadu with 'Bharat Ane Nenu'.



The movie will be releasing in Tamil as 'Bharat Ennum Naan' and now the release date of the movie is finalized. The movie will release on 25th of this month. Mahesh Babu has a good fan base in Tamil Nadu and it would be interesting to see how this movie does at the Box-Office.

Public anger on Siddaramaiah!

With the results of the Karnataka state assembly elections that came out today, the anger of the common public on its Congress Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, and the congress party in general has become obvious. While Siddaramaiah has himself lost in a constituency, almost 50% of his Ministers have flopped. 

 


Siddaramaiah's government has failed to sustain and survive the elections, and it has ended as the number 2 of the elections. BJP has ended as the single largest party. This election has been a clear indication of the anger that people had been developing on the ruling congress government. While Siddaramaiah had contested in two constituencies, he had lost miserably in his home constituency Chamundeshwari, while he limped to victory in Badami.

Of the 33 ministers of his cabinet, half have faced defeats.  Ramnath Roy, Revanna, Kakod Thimmappa, Santhosh Let, Umashree, Vinay Kulkarni, HC Mahadevappa, Charan Prakash patil, SS Mallikarjun, Anjaneya, Manju, Jeyachandra, Basavaraj Rayareddy, Pramod Mathvaraj, Rudrappa lamani were the 15 losing candidates. The ever increasing displeasure on Siddaramaiah and his ministers has been cited to be the major reason behind this huge unprecedented defeat.

As per Supreme Court Judgement Allied Party's with numbers can form the Government,  BJP cannot supersede the decision as they have formed Government  in Goa using support of local parties and Independents even after Congress gaining Majority JDS leader H.Kumaraswamy spills an allegation on BJP stating 100 crores were offered to do Trading with his MLAs,  for which BJP Leader Prakash Javdekar refuted the charge.

The suspense will be unveiled as who would  Hon.Governor call for forming Government in Karnataka, till then poaching and Resort Politics would continue. BJP needs Lucky No. 7 MLAs while Congress and JDS to overshoot the Number of 112  to form Government. Under construction flyover collapsed in Varanasi killing 12 people

Varanasi sources reported that a portion of an under construction flyover near the railway station here collapsed today and several people were feared trapped under the debris. Police said the incident had occurred post-noon, officials said adding rescue teams were rushed to the spot. Moreover the senior police and administration officers also reached the site of the incident.



An official said "It is feared that several people are buried under the rubble”. They said some vehicles were also crushed in the incident. Further the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed grief over the incident while Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya is reaching there, an official spokesperson said in Lucknow.

Moreover the chief minister has directed the district administration and PWD officials to take all necessary steps for relief and rescue operations. Media reports that Director General of Police (DGP) OP Singh said NRDF teams were reaching the spot besides police personnel. Local administration was providing emergency services with medical and other teams carrying out rescue work.

Paytm set a target of enabling transfers to Rs 60,000 crores a month by end of 2018

According to sources Paytm has laid out a 3-year plan to make investments of up to Rs 5,000 crores towards to facilitate the growth of its business in the bank transfers and other digital payments space. Meanwhile Paytm, which has signed up the unified payments interface (UPI) and IMPS channels, says its platform will enable its customers to make fund transfers from one account to another bank account using these payment gateways.



Moreover it has created a dedicated ‘My Payments’ section within its app to functionalize this. Furthermore apart from this, the e-wallet cum payments bank app is rolling out a feature through which customers can make payments of a regular/routine nature like rents etc., even if they are high in value.

Recently the company has set a target of enabling transfers to the extent of Rs 60,000 crores a month by the end of 2018. There is also the objective to lift the number of overall transactions through Paytm in a year from the current 1 billion to 2 billion. Furthermore in order to make these new features on its app familiar with the customers, Paytm is currently involved in educating its customers. Moreover one of the first tasks it has to carry out is to complete the KYC compliance and that of linking the back accounts to the Paytm accounts.

North & South Korea to discuss measures related to implementation of agreements on May 16

Seoul sources stated that South and North Korea have agreed to hold high-level inter-Korea talks on May 16, confirmed South Korea's Unification Ministry. Several media reports quoted the Unification Ministry, as saying, in a statement that "The South and North will hold a high-level inter-Korea meeting on May 16 in the Peace House in Panmunjom, to discuss the implementation of 'Panmunjom Declaration for Peace, Prosperity, and Unification of the Korean Peninsula”.



Meanwhile the two sides are likely to discuss measures related to the implementation of agreements reached at the intra-Korean summit in April and accordingly the meet is scheduled at the border village of Panmunjom in the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), the world's most heavily guarded border, separating the two countries.

Moreover as per report Wednesday's inter-Korea talks will see North Korea send a 29 member delegation led by Ri Son-gwon, chairman of the 'Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the country'. Further from South Korea, Unification Minister Cho Myoung-gyon will lead a team of five and moreover the ceremony for the dismantling of the facility has been scheduled between May 23-25.
