Halonix Technologies all set to Embark into Smart Lighting with 22% YoY Growth Target

Halonix Technologies Pvt. Ltd., one of the country’s most progressive and environment friendly lighting companies is all set to launch a wide range of Smart Lighting products. The company also plans to break into newer markets and achieve over 20-22% YoY growth rate with an aim to realize INR 10 billion revenue in next five years, said Mr. Rakesh Zutshi, Managing Director, Halonix Technologies Limited.

 

Further elaborating on this he added: “With our immediate plans to expand ourselves aggressively in West and South India, we aim to garner INR 4.4 billion revenue in the current financial year. We are already very strong in North and Eastern markets.”

Recent government initiatives like ‘Make In India’ and ‘Housing For All’ are truly being instrumental in driving the growth of Halonix in India. Already there is huge demand for branded Halonix LED lighting products in the market. We look forward to seize the opportunity in a big way with a wide array of LED lighting products--which also include our newly launched Smart LED lights,” added Mr. Zutshi. The company also plans to play a key role in supplying smart lighting solutions for Smart Cities Development projects across the country.

Worlds largest Dinosaur to be exhibited in Chicago Museum

Chicago sources reported that the cast skeleton of the largest dinosaur discovered to date will go on exhibit in a recreation of what would have been its home in present day Argentine Patagonia at Chicago's Field Museum starting June 15. Meanwhile the 37 m (122 ft) long cast, dubbed Maximo, occupies one third of the museum's Stanley Field Hall and its head pokes out from a balcony 8.54 m (28 ft) high.

Accordingly Maximo is a long necked mega-herbivore in the family of Titanosaurus. Field Museum president Richard Lariviere said in a statement said "Our goal as an institution is to offer visitors the best possible dinosaur experiences and we want that to start right when visitors first enter Stanley Field Hall".

He said "The new titanosaur is huge and it looks amazing in Stanley Field Hall. It is the perfect home to display the world's largest dinosaur". Maximo will not be alone and moreover around the skeleton there will be floating gardens and life-size reproductions of a flock of giant flying reptiles, some of them 9.7 m long, the length of a school bus. Further the Maximo model was created from the fossilized bones of seven individual dinosaurs of the same species excavated from a quarry near La Flecha, Argentina.

The 19-Year-Old goes to London to start the shooting...

Actor Suriya, who was last seen in the heist comedy Thaana Serndha Koottam / Gang directed by Vignesh Shivn, is currently busy shooting for his next flick, the revolutionary themed NGK directed by Selvaraghavan and costarring Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh.
 
While the shooting of NGK has been progressing at a rapid pace in sets in Chennai and Pollachi, Suriya had already signed his next, his 37th flick which brings together yet again, the successful combo of himself and director KV Anand, who had previously delivered the blockbuster Ayan and Maattrraan.

Suriya 37, bankrolled by Lyca productions, has been scheduled to begin shooting from the end of June, at London. Sayyeshaa will join the team in this schedule. The movie also has Malayalam legend Mohanlal aka Lalettan in a  crucial role, besides also having Tollywood hero Allu Sirish in another vital character.

FIRST REPORT: OFFICER Review - Why Nagarjuna? Just Why? A Total Yawn-Fest...

The Shiva combo of Nagarjuna and Ram Gopal Varma are back on screen two decades after their last collaboration, and this time around, they're back with a cop thriller, with Nag donning the khaki after Shivamani. With both Nag and RGV in complete flop form, will the duo succeed this time around? Here's team AP Herald's exclusive Officer first report.
Officer revolves around a tough cop played by King Nagarjuna who enter Mumbai to investigate a fake encounter case, and his investigation leads him to senior cop Narayan Pasari. However, the evil Narayan gets out of jail and plans to counter-attack Nagarjuna. While he tries to frame Nag, how he escapes out of it, saves his daughter and hunts down Pasari is what officer is all about.
Officer exactly has nothing except King Nagarjuna who tries to save the proceedings with his screen presence. Bharat Vyas's cinematography is good, while music by Ravisankar is loud, and the movie for most parts moves at a dragged pace, with cliched and predictable scenes filled throughout, For a cop thriller, Officer does not have a single mass scene or an elevation sequence to highlight the protagonist or downplay the antagonist.

And with a totally disastrous choice of casting Narayan Pasari as a villain, RGV again torments audience, besides troubling with his pathetic screenplay. The second half moves at an even dragged pace than the first and ends with the audience getting relieved that officer is finally over. All said, Officer, is one movie that lacks everything, right from technicalities to content, and ends as a super dud.
