Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas, the son of producer Bellamkonda Suresh, had begun his career starring with Samantha in the average entertainer Alludu Seenu by VV Vinayak. However, his later flicks like Speedunodu,Jaya Janaki Nayaka failed to set the box office on fire.

Unmindful of the results of his movies, the young hero is all set for his next, Saakshyam, directed by Sriwaas, who has previously made some successful movies like Lakshyam and Loukyam. Saakshyam revolves around a lead pair and how the forces of nature play a vital role in their lives.

While initially Saakshyam was scheduled to release in June, now the movie has been pushed to a later date of July 20, to avoid clashes with other movies. Also starring bikini babe Pooja Hegde, Saakshyam is said to have extensive CG sequences on par with Hollywood movies.

The 2014 Bollywood superhit Queen, starring Kangana Ranaut, and directed by Vikas Bahl, which turned out to be a blockbuster, while also fetching Kangana a national award for best actress, is currently being remade in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.

With the Kannada and Tamil versions, Butterfly and Paris Paris starring Parul Yadav and Kajal Aggarwal respectively, being directed by Kannada actor/ director Ramesh Aravind, the Telugu version starring milky beauty Tamannaah was supposed to be directed by Neelakanta.

However, Neelakanta had exited the project months back following which the project was kept on hold. However, now, it has been reported that the team Queen Once Again has planned to rope in the creative maker Prashanth Varma, who had made waves with his debut Awe. An official confirmation is expected soon from the producer Manu Kumaran soon.

According to sources Uttar Pradesh is not just the largest state but also the state that gave a massive 71 Lok Sabha seats to the BJP in 2014 general elections a mandate that helped Narendra Modi to emerge as the strongest Prime Minister in the recent times. Furthermore even in the state Assembly elections held last year (2017), BJP emerged as a big player by bagging huge 325 seats out of total 403 Assembly constituencies.

Superstar Rajnikanth, who was last seen in Malaysia based gangster drama Kabali directed by Pa Ranjith, which went on to become a failure at the box office, falling neither between a Rajni movie nor a Ranjith movie, is all set to grace screens next week with Kaala.

Yet again directed by Pa Ranjith, Kaala will have the superstar playing a Mumbai Dharavi based don, who fights for the ownership of lands of the commoners, against the evil politician antagonist played by veteran Nana Patekar. Also starring Huma Qureshi and Eswari Rao, Kaala is scheduled to release on June 7.

While the trailer of the movie, released yesterday has received rousing reception in social media, the movie has faced a huge roadblock. Due to Rajni's speech against Karnataka in the Cauvery river issue, the Karnataka Film chamber has banned the release of Kaala in Karnataka, which happens to be one of the favorite hunting grounds for collection. Karnataka CM Kumarasamy confirmed that the movie won't stand against the decision taken by KFC and ensured it won't release.

The biopic of the legendary yesteryear actress Savithri garu, Mahanati, directed by Nag Ashwin of Yevade Subramanyam fame and starring Keerthy Suresh in the lead role, alongside stars like Dulquer Salmaan, Samantha, Vijay Deverakonda, Rajendra Prasad, was released on May 9 and had been received very well.

The movie was lapped up by both the youngsters and elderly audience alike, as they rejoiced the performances and the nostalgic trip down the memory lane. The movie had grossed a whopping 60 crores worldwide, while at the US Box office, had breached the $2.5 million mark, becoming the 3rd Telugu movie this year after Rangasthalam and Bharat Ane Nenu to achieve this feat.

As per report raising his strong pitch against Narendra Modi, Chandrababu Naidu has asked media and people at a conference, "Have you even got a single paisa benefit from Narendra Modi? No one received any benefit from him right? Meanwhile in return, everyone has to stand in long queues to withdraw their own money."

Accordingly Chandrababu rebuked YS Jagan Mohan Reddy without taking his name. Meanwhile Naidu said he (Jagan) is walking on the road laid by him and the streetlights put by his government. Money doesn't come free. One can earn with a lot of hard work."

Thiruvananthapuram sources stated that recently Kerala has witnessed 17 deaths in the last two weeks of whom three people have died in the last two days because of nipah virus. Accordingly Rasil, a native of Kozhikode who died on Thursday is suspected to have contracted the virus from Ismail, another Nipah victim. Meanwhile Ismail in turn is reported to have been infected from Mohammed Sadik, the first suspected Nipah virus victim in Kerala.  

Furthermore Dr Jayasree, Kozhikode District Medical Officer, said, “As of May 31, the total number of confirmed cases stands at 18, out of this 16 have died. Moreover this death toll does not reflect Sadik’s death. 2 confirmed cases are under treatment and the number of suspected cases is 11. So far 1407 people are in the contact list.” 

Media report added the people who have been placed on house quarantine have been asked by the state government to watch out for symptoms and keep nodal health officers informed. KK Shylaja, the Health Minister of the state said “There is no need to panic, but anyone who has been in contact with patients needs to get themselves admitted if they are showing any symptoms”. She also added that they had expected a second round of infections and assured that the state was prepared for it.

Young maker Mahi V Raghav, who had begun his Tollywood career with the dud Paathshala, went on a sabbatical, before striking back with his horror comedy Anando Brahma. Starring Tapsee Pannu in the lead role, the classy comic entertainer went on to become the surprise sleeper hit of the year.

Post the success of Anando Brahma, the director had sprung another surprise, as he had launched his next, Yatra, which happened to be the biopic of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Rajasekar Reddy, with the Malayalam Megastar Mammootty playing YSR. The shooting of the film is expected to begin in July.

While there had been speculations of casting Nayanthara, Suriya and many other prominent faces, only Bhumika chawla had been cast to play Mammooty's sister in the movie. It has now been revealed that the makers of Yatra, are planning to release the political biopic on Sankranthi 2019.

Washington sources reported that resident White House physician, Dr. Ronny Jackson, reported some of the results of President Trump’s annual physical, expressed that he increased his current cholesterol prescription over concerns for his cholesterol levels, and spoke at length about Trump’s superb cardiac health. Meanwhile he also made public the president’s weight: at a reported 6’3” tall, Jackson stated that Trump weighs in at 239 pounds, putting him just shy of being considered obese by medical standards.

Furthermore during a press conference, Jackson did say that the 71 year old president could use more exercise and a better diet that is lower in fat and carbohydrates. Trump, who is known to eat junk food and to avoid exercise beyond golf, is overweight and has set a “reasonable goal” of losing 10 to 15 pounds in the coming year and developing a regular fitness routine, the doctor said. Jackson added “He is more enthusiastic about the diet part than the exercise part”.

Moreover in the official memo released by Dr. Jackson, he said of President Trump “We discussed diet, exercise and weight loss. Further he would benefit from a diet that is lower in fat and carbohydrates and from a routine exercise regimen and also has a history of elevated cholesterol and is currently on a low dose of Rosuvastatin.
